The teaser’s length of 2 minutes and 3 seconds was sufficient to convey the film’s scope, making it one of the most eagerly anticipated South Indian films of 2023.
Kabzaa Movie OTT Release Date
On March 17, 2023, Kabzaa was released in theatres worldwide in multiple languages. The story of the movie revolves around an underworld don, who is portrayed by Upendra.
Although advance booking began five days before its debut, it was not successful in generating significant pre-bookings. The film’s bookings for day 1 earned between Rs. 3.5 and 4 Cr. Although shown on 4,000 screens around the world, the film was not well received by audiences.

Kabzaa Movie Star Cast
Shriya Saran is seen as the female lead opposite Upendra. Kichha Sudeepa, a beloved Kannada actor, also plays a significant role.

Story
This 1960-1984 period action movie was written and directed by R. Chandru. Under the production companies SSE & Invenio Origin and Anand Pandit Motion Productions, the movie is made by R. Chandra Shekar and Alankar Pandhan.
The entire movie was filmed on expansive sets built in Bengaluru and Hyderabad.

Upendra’s movie generated strong pre-release buzz, but it failed to generate any advance reservations. The reviews and opinions of cinephiles and reviewers on the movie ranged from neutral to unfavourable.
According to trade estimates, Kabzaa would wrap up around Rs 30 crore in India. However, the manufacturing budget estimates a significant failure of about Rs 100 crore.
